Award Winning Farmshop, Craft Butchers and Deli

Winner of the Good Food Irl Meat Producer of the Year 2023 award

Craft butchers and gourmet delicatessen in the heart of Ennistymon and online butchers

We are an award winning craft butchers, gourmet delicatessen and café in the heart of Ennistymon and butchers online, run by father and daughter Sean and Fiona Haugh. Our meat from the butchers is available online also. Sean Haugh is a 3rd generation farmer and has been sourcing beef and lamb from local farmers in North and West Clare for over 30 years. The stock is finished on clover and salt covered grass on our farm in Kilkee. Our beef is dry aged for 21 days, a traditional method which ensures remarkable depth of flavour. From our abattoir to the shop in Ennistymon there is full traceability on our product. Our land has been fertiliser and pesticide free for four generations, a legacy we are very proud to continue sharing with our customers.

This commitment to quality and freshness continues into our deli. You will find a large range of hot gourmet sandwiches, fresh pastries, gourmet salads and home cooked meats. We offer a wide selection of organic and biodynamic wines with local and Irish artisan groceries. Contact us or shop our bespoke Irish hamper range online, a perfect gift to let someone special know you are thinking of them.

So where was this photograph taken? Right here in the Burren at St Mary's of the Fertile Rock! A group of Burren business owners on a tour to Corcomroe Abbey recently. This is one of the monuments of the Burren which is so easy to drive past and not even see. However, it is well worth a visit, dating back to the 1170s when the Cistercian monks established a monastery here. The architecture and detail is truly amazing when we think of how old the place is, and for that time how isolated it was. No doubt, Corcomroe Abbey was a magnificent complex in its prime!Hylands Burren Hotel Limestoneyoga Colette Burren Yoga Holidays and Retreats Cliffs of Moher Experience Lady Gregory Hotel Burren Distillers Burren Nature Sanctuary & Botanical Collection The Burren Visitor Centre Burren Farm Experience Burren Smokehouse Burren Lowlands Burren National Park The Burren and Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Global Geopark Burren College of Art Burren Court Holiday Homes, The Burren, Co Clare Market House Ennistymon Aillwee Burren Experience Doolin Ferry Co Hotel Doolin Ireland Doolin Inn Monks Ballyvaughan Gregans Castle Hotel Michael Cusack Centre Common Knowledge Moher Cottage #theburren #visitclare #ecotourism #Burren #cliffsofmoher #burrenandcliffsgeopark #burrennationalpark #Ireland ...
